MillStream Development Co. was started back in 1976 by Douglas C. Wamsher. It all began with a few local fields in Sylvania and a vision to build neighborhoods where families could thrive, beginning with his first major project, Windswept Farms. His sons, Brandon and Ryan Wamsher, grew up around the job sites, learning the ins and outs of the development business from their dad at a young age.

Today, Brandon and Ryan Wamsher serve as Vice Presidents, carrying on the family business right here in the area where they were raised. We know that families and builders move to Sylvania for its excellent, well-known school district which is why we’ve focused on building the best communities within it. Over the last 50 years, MillStream has grown to encompass more than 600 acres and 5,000 community lots. As we continue adding new phases and subdivisions, our family’s goal remains exactly the same: building reliable, high-quality spaces where people can ground their future and raise their families.
